Salutations

A verse to live by

--

‘Twas a time of ominous happenings
And now we hope its end is near,

A lot has been learnt and circumstances
Will teach us more as up we gear.

We bore losses and pain still abounds
But inspite of all, we mustn’t fear.

We are apart — far away from our loved ones,
It’s been long; distances — very well they fare;

What dwells upon the world may be chaos,
And uncertainties happily interfere;

This chaos is deceitful and duplicitous,
It will pass — remember we mustn’t scare.

I wish upon you courage that forever lasts,
Because I hope you know that I do care.

News bring new doubts but also celebrations,
May all your doubts melt away and disappear;

Fortitude, truth and health send you salutations,
May you never be perturbed and blossom like a flower.

Time will diminish all distances,
And, if fortune wills otherwise, know that our souls will always be together.

Live, Love, Laugh — let this be thy path endless,
Look! I wish you a very happy new year!
